See, a lot of people were hit hard with the past housing bubble not only losing their homes but also losing their jobs making it impossible to pay for anything forcing them to relocate and start over. So a collection company figured out a clever way to track people down who's addresses and phone numbers were no longer valid and make money at it. It allows past creditors to find you and harass you. Period. That is why its called Credit "Karma"! It's the old "bait and switch".
