Unsuspecting consumers are persuaded to check their credit score for FREE by television campaigns. Sounds Good... But, the information collected on you is SOLD to bill collectors who are looking for creditors, to credit reporting agencies and institutes that increase your junk mail offers for credit.
It's a bait and switch campaign that presents itself as Good Old Boys offering people a free service. Yea Right!
But the ads do not disclose that the information is detrimental to peoples lives if they owe debts, are tired of being harassed by creditors, or don't want their private and personal information sold without their knowing or authorizing it.
It's a scam that takes advantage of innocent people by invading their privacy and selling their confidential information. Be Warned!!!
