Trader Vic's at London Hilton on Park Lane
Trader Vic's at London Hilton on Park Lane trick and limited menu

Worst experience ever! We dined at this restaurant. There were a menu that is made specifically for people bought deal from living social, which is different from the menu of the restaurant. It was so limited that all the three course meal (including the side dish, the main course and the desert) in only one short page (actually all the three course choices is 7, three for starter, three for main and 1 for the desert). These three choices are either pork, sea food or vegetable. This is applicable for both starter and main dish. I mean for each of the starter you can have either pork, sea food or vegetable dish, and these choices are repeated for the main dish.
Worst than, the starter came no more than 100 gram in weight (only three small pieces of fish) in addition to that a sauce in a paper container similar to the one that you can refill in MacDonald's.
All eight of us dining were making jokes on the quantity and waiting for the main to compensate us. This came as bad as the starter. Four of us including me had to order the sea bass and four the vegetable. Imagine only quarter of a small sea bass fish in a soup (a dish filled with watery onions and a quarter of a fish is flouting (a piece measured no more than 7 x 7 cm and only on side of the fish). This piece was so small that someone can eat it in no more than two bites (off course if it was delicious). Despite that all of us finished the dissert, each of us (six ladies and two men felt that we need to go dining some were else which we did.)
Any restaurant can do this trick which is printing a menu with very limited choices and excluding any steak or lamp meat, providing no salad of any kind, no water and cheap wine. I showed the waiter through my mobile, the price of the wine they provided to us available in Asda for £3.99 a bottle.in addition to the living social deal we got a bill for £64.45. When we read it and complaint, the restaurant apologized for adding things that we didn't order and correct it to £37.25.
My family bought three vouchers and I don't know what to do with them, this restaurant is a waste of time and money.
As a frequent living social customer, I understand that restaurants are welcoming customers through living social to encourage them to visit the restaurant again and again. This restaurant is doing the opposite. It uses the good reputation of living social and Hilton park lane name to gain as much profit it can from providing poor dining. Almost all of the restaurant customers were having vouchers. All of the eight of us were watching this closely. When reserving in this restaurant, the restaurant insist that living social customers must come at 6:30 sharp. No later no earlier. If someone want to come later then they must pay the full price. On that night at around 8:30 customers started to leave and the restaurant became completely empty shortly after that. This is a strong evidence that most of the customer (if not all) were living social customers.
The bottom line, thanks to living social that enable this restaurant to work. But please help me find a solution for my additional two voucher.
