Defective Glasses zero customer service

Purchased glasses online, customer service at that point was eager insinuated this was a USA company. Package arrived with a Hong Kong return address. Glasses arrived broken. After a few attempts to enquire as to what to do with the glasses they responded. Was initially told to go to a Optical shop in my area, they would be happy to repair. This was not the case. Optical Store would not consider this 1. Not their goods to repair 2. Not repairable - this was to be at our cost. At this point you are on your own. They maintain The glasses where to be returned to a California address and at your expense and by a means that ensured a tracking number would be provided. This cost was substantially more than the glasses cost. Needless to say we did not return the glasses. Refund was never given. Beware they do not stand by their goods. Cost to rectify exceeds cost of goods. When selling they are very eager, when a problem arises they are evasive and difficult to deal with.
