Someone called my home and said they were United States Financial Resource Center and was already approved for a free grant for money that I did not have to pay back. No interest, no fees at all. He asked me what would I be doing with the money and I did not give an answer. He continued to say ok, it is for personal use to do whatever I wanted to with. I asked him what did I have to pay, He said no mamma, you pay nothing for the grant but their is an application fee of $3.87. He continued to ask for my credit card number, I told him I did not own any credit cards and that I would have to mail him the three dollars and eightseven cents. He said, No, No mama, can you get someone elses card and pay the fee, a friend or family member? I said no, I have no family, He said Oh, ok, can you run to walmart and get a visa and we do it that way? I said sure, but it would have to be tomorrow before I get back, I have to go into town to get it. I asked him what his phone number was and he said no, no mam, I will call you back tomorrow at this time, is ok? I said yes. He then reminded me to not forget to make sure it is $3.87. I said ok, thank you and bye. Just laughed when I hung up the phone with this guy who could not speak clear English, could hardly understand him. I know that this was a scam, usually, something that sounds to good to be true, IS! Hope this helped someone in the near furture. Be careful and don't trust these people.
