During a Hughes Net upgrade, the installer needed to crwl under our house to run wires. While doing so $600 worth of damange was done to our central heat and air system when she dislodged the thermastat wire which caused a domino effect including frying the wiring and transformer, etc. The owner of Skynet, Amit Ranavaya gave me the name and number of his supposed insurance company. I forwarded the air conditioning company's invoice and pictures to the insuraance company. A couple weeks went by with no response from Amit or Progressive. I finally called and was told that they in fact do not have insurance with Progressive. I called Progressive and confirmed this. Actually Progressive doesn't even offer business insurance-only vehicle insurance. Amit has refused to return calls or emails and will not answer the phone. Guess the egg on his face is too thick for him to use the phone. If you decide to install Hughes Net, and live in NC or SC, check your installation confirmation. If it lists Skynet as your installer-CANCEL!
