I was with Progressive Auto Insurance for about 4 or 5 years and dropped them to go with another insurance company. Progressive billed me for $51.00 for dropping them and after repeated billing notices I paid the $51. They didn't appreciate my business with them even though I always paid my monthly bill on time. My insurance agent said this was reported by other policy holders also. I guess I helped pay for their TV comercials.
