I purchased a deal for £29 for a half head of highlight, and a cut and blow dry. When I called to book the appointment, they asked if I would like to upgrade to a full head of highlights. I asked how much this would cost, I was told £25. After I had my hair done, I went to pay the £25. I was then told it was £40. When I queried this, they took it down to £35, but advised that I was charged an extra £10 for the colour! They clearly lied to me on the phone, and when pushed, appeared to be plucking prices out of thin air, with no real thought. I only had £25 cash on me, as this was what I was advised, and there card machine wasn't working, so they had me going out into the pouring rain, walking to the nearest cashpoint to get the extra £10, just after I had got my hair done. What was meant to be a bargain, was a complete rip off, and I ended up paying more for the extra half head than I did for the other half head and the cut. Absolutely ridiculous. The service was poor as well. The woman who did my hair clearly didn't want to be there, and made no effort whatsoever to engage in a conversation with me. Needless to say, I will not be returning to that salon, and would not recommend it to anyone. You cannot believe the prices they quote you. They are liars.
