I found Vernon Ellicott to be a horrible divorce attorney! He came across competent, experienced and caring during the initial (free) consultation. However, once you hire him he does a 180! Do not expect him to answer your questions or return your telephone calls or emails - he won't without you leaving him numerous messages first. His manner is rude and detached. He is very curt and vague in his reponses and leaves you questioning his knowledge and ability to represent you properly and effectively. I immediately fired him once I reviewed the declaration he filed with the court - it was inaccurate and FULL of typos! So unprofessional. My new attorney had to correct all of the errors Vernon Ellicott made! Lastly, his staff - equally as rude and unprofessional. Hire at your own risk!
