Peggy was hired as an amicus to represent my son in a divorce and custody matter. Her job was to fairly make a recommendation for child custody. She met with my ex husband several times as well as visited my son at his fathers home. She met me for about 20 minutes at her office and my son and I were observed at a restaurant for 40 minutes.
She made a decision about the visitation rights of my son without contacting my references or speaking to my friends and family. She also told me at the mediation that her decision was in favor of me. I see my son once a week at my home for two hours and two weekends month supervised by my parents. If this is a good custody finding then I would hate to see a bad one. It irritates me that she is making poor decisions regarding children's future.
