Fraud charges on credit cards - LegalZoom

I also ordered the LLC small business forms and was charged a fee of $158.95 and received an email confirmation number for that transaction.
Then on my next visa billing statement I see another charge for $159. For a registered agent fee that I never ordered or agreed to pay for.
I called Legalzoom and was told that I ordered that service and for it get cancelled I had to send in a form to the Departemnt of Commerce and Consumer Affairs office and pay them a fee to change from their service agent to being my own agent.
I received the forms from Legalzoom to see that they have me with a registered agent:
United States Corporation Agents, INC in the state of Nevada???
Then they have the place of business in Honolulu address as: 1888 Kalakaua Ave 3c312, Honolulu, Hi 96815 USA
Google that address and it comes to a Virtual Office that is set up for scammers to use an official looking business address to scam it's victims.
I think it's time for the FBI to look into Legalzoom and their business practice.
If they are scamming you and making fraud charges on your credit card i suggest you call you credit card company and ask for the fraud department.

It is very important to us to try and correct the situation when a customer feels there has been a misunderstanding or an error in the service and/or product at LegalZoom. Our registered agent service is offered only as an option to our business customers. The website explains the service is a yearly subscription that begins the moment the company is confirmed as filed with the state. The yearly fee is outlined in our online questionnaire, our pricing page as well as the itemized breakdown of charges provided to every customer prior to any payment request. We are very sorry for any misunderstanding and we are more than happy to help you in resolving this matter. If you wish to discuss this further, please feel free to email [email protected].
