I have an e-mail address which has only ever been used to register for the site http://usashameboard.com. This address has never been published anywhere, nor has it ever been registered with any other website. I created it solely for use on http://usashameboard.com, where I registered it on April 19.
Yesterday, I began receiving spam e-mail at the otherwise totally silent and unused address. Given the circumstances, it is clear to me that the http://usashameboard.com website - be it intentionally or via third-party exploitation of inadequate data security - is responsible for the ultimate distribution of my personal contact information.
Watch out, users.
