I just got a "past due service invoice" for a service I never signed up for or have used. When I called to get more information, they refused to believe me. When I tried to cancel the account, they asked for my social. (How did they get it?) When I did reach a supervisor who cancelled the account, I got a follow-up email charging me another monthly fee plus a "service fee" for cancelling the account. Although I have used this company to buy a book of stamps, I *never* agreed to the monthly lease agreement they say I did, and it has never shown up on my credit card statement, althoough they say the bill dates to 2007. I contacted USPS, which endorses them, and they said it is between me and the company, and they were unaware of any problems. However, just google "stamps.com" and "scam" and check it out...
