One day I visited the stamps.com website to gain information about obtaining stamps online and about custum stamps. Before one is able to get any information, one is forced to register, which requires filling in all your personal information including credit card information. After that you are prompted to download software. That's when I gave up and just went to the post office.
Months later I discover I am being billed $15.99 monthly by stamps.com. I call them to tell them to stop and to refund my money because it certainly wasn't my intent to sign up for any service to begin with! They did cancel "my account" but refused to reimburse me.
These days, $32 is a lot of money to waste and I feel scammed out of it. It is extremely unclear on their website that you will be billed monthly. I am an alert 40 year old. Imagine all the others that are being taken advantage of!
Shame on stamps.com!
