I was looking for a particular program for download, and when I google searched it, this is the only site that came up with a listing for said program. I thought well since this is a pay-for-info site, it may well be that only they have it. After selecting the file I wanted to download, I was taken to a sign up page. I decided to sign up, and went through the process. Only once I was finished entering my info, without given the option to check what I've ordered, I noted that I had to pay an EXTRA 14.88 $ USD, for a service I was not even aware of. This is over and above the 23.76 $ USD that I had to for out for the 2 Year Full & Unlimited Access Option I had chosen.
That I could still live with, but when I then wanted to proceed with logging in, i was taken to a different sign up page every time. Yet another page with options on how to pay. Never once was there even displayed that maybe I had the wrong username and password. It feels as if the submit button was just designed to take you to a set page, instead of an internal system.
Upon further investigation, I noted that you cannot even go to a contact us, or webmaster page, as these just reroute you to the sign-up page. There are also no contact details, so you can't reach these people in any way.
I am highly disappointed in myself, for having fallen for such a scam. I urge others not to. The front page may well look very professional and legitimate, but I can fully assure you, that's all it is: A FRONT!
