5-10 year old lists sold as up-to-date

I ordered a list GUARANTEED to be of good quality and up to date. I am an experienced list buyer and I understand that no list is perfect, but this list was atrocious.

I used my home city as an evaluation test and it was clear that this company has acquired two old lists one about 10 years old and the other about 5 years old. They combined them amateurishly and it resulted in a large number of duplicates and clear evidence of when they assembled the lists.

They provided 6,908 records for my home city in Ontario Canada, on their Ontario, Canada list. Of the 6,908 records 2,860 were duplicated due to small formatting differences in the addresses or companies changing locations and ending up with 10 year addresses still on your list. Dozens more were companies that went out of businesses years ago, resulting in about a 55% accuracy.

This company is clearly not providing what they claim and I have requested a refund.
