I have been a loyal Time Warner customer for 8 years. Today I received a notice that they will now charge 3.95 a month for using the modem, bringing my bill to over $160.00 a month. I received notice of this charge after they already added it to our bill. I called their customer retention department hoping for a reduction of some sort. I could tell the rep was in a bad mood and knew it wasn't going to go well. Would not offer me a crumb. Guess what I am doing now? Researching my options AT&T, Magic Jack... I am disappointed I would have stayed.
