I had verizon fios triple play installed on 11/25. The tech arrived more than two hours after the scheduled window and did not call to notify me of his late arrival.in fact, I called the hotline to inquire about his status.

Install took about four hours, but was uneventful, and I was forewarned about the 4-6 hour time frame. What I was not prepared for were the unwarranted charges. A few weeks after install, I received a bill for 2 tv outlet installations at 54.99 EACH. I called to explain that I only have one tv. The internet explanation explicitly states that if one has had prior cable service on a tv, then a new outlet is unnecessary. The tech waived one charge, but was unable to waive the second as I was unsure if new coaxial cable had been required. The following day, I checked the coaxial cable connected to my dvr and wireless router. IT IS THE SAME coaxial cable left by Time Warner Cable. I called again. This time, I was told that a seperate "new" outlet is needed for the wireless router. The ROUTER and TV are IN THE SAME ROOM!!! Furthermore, I was never informed by the fios technician that I would be charged ANY outlet fees. I have filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and am planning to cancel my service within the 30 day time frame. I only hope I am able to close fios service without the hassle that I had trying to understand the bill! BUYER BEWARE: Verizon billing is a scam.
