I was really waiting to get my case of artist gallery canvas' until I opened the box. They stated it was 13 oz. Canvas, well that made me pull a lot of my paintings off the wall to compare, no comparison, most of my canvas is 12 oz. And is thick and high quality - Wholesaleartsframes canvas is very, very thin, cheapish, frames are haphazardly stapled together, corners are only staples (no dovetailing of any sort), I gave one frame support a slight twist and it was coming apart. Seemed like a good source for canvas but it is not! Now I'm stuck with 5 cheap canvas' that I don't even want to use. Paintings should have quality canvas. These would only be good for throw-away type art projects, kids, practice surface. Back to the local art supply store.
