I ordered a couple of bras online through J.D. Marvel on 09/30; I gave my debit card information in payment. The online order processing was very slow and seemed to freeze at one point. I heard nothing from J.D. Marvel and wrongly assumed my information had been lost somehow.
I proceeded to add the amount of the order back to my checking account after a month or so. On January 4, the full amount of the order I placed at the end of September was debited from my checking account. $34.72! I have received NO bras to date, and if I had not checked my bank statement closely, I would not even have KNOWN I'D BEEN SCREWED!
I just assumed I had forgotten to post something to my check register during all the holiday rush. Unbelievable! How do these people continue to operate?!!! Multinationally yet! I'm writing the New York Attorney General's office in an attempt to receive a refund. I will let you know if I succeed.
