Mugshots.com is a website that puts people's mugshots on the internet. However, their purpose is not to help the public or to provide information as they claim. The business involves extortion. That is, if your mugshot is on mugshot.com (whether or not you have been convicted, it will still go up there), mugshot.com provides a "service" where they will remove your mugshot so it cannot be seen for about $400.

The attorney for mugshots.com is Marc Gary Epstein aka Marc G. Epstein. His phone number is. His phone number is public record so I'm sure he won't mind it being provided here. I called him to confirm the number and it is his phone number. Marc Epstein also confirmed for me via the telephone that he was the attorney and partial owner of mugshots.com. Marc Epstein became very defensive when I was asking these questions and demanded to know my name. I told him my name. He began to rant about something and I told him he had answered my questions and I ended the conversation. He immediately called me back and left a message that he was going to report me to the police.
This is a giant extortion racket that needs to be put to an end.
