AOL representatives did not resolve connection problems and when I tried to cancel the account, they would only extend the service for 3 more months free.
I was to call back before the expiration date and they would cancel it then. I failed to call by the date, they charged my credit card account for a full month.
I talked to a team leader, he will not refund for service I did not receive. I told him I had removed their software and was unable to use their service. They continued to offer me an additional trial period and wanted to read me the agreement where it stated I was responsible for the months billing.
I did not get any internet service from AOL, and they continued to tell me that "it was available" and I owed them for it. Another example of the inconsiderate attitude of a large corporation charging for services not rendered.
