A few months ago I purchased a Dell computer. I was given the option of 6 months free internet by Earthlink or AOL. I did not use either since I was already an Earthlink subscriber and continued that service. I did not at any time log on to AOL. The service would pop up when I was attempting to log on to my Earthlink connection. Long before the 6 months was up, I deleted AOOL from my programs in my computer. I was charged a months service because I did not call and cancel the service. I never had the service with Aol at any time during that time.instead of the monthly service for several months I was charged $4.95 to my credit card for AOL supposedly protecting my computer from viruses and what ever else. I never at any time authorized any charges to my credit card by AOL. I feel that Dell should be notified of AOL's charges that they were not entitled to make.
