My PC would not start in "normal" mode on the morning of June 11, so I started it in "safe mode with networking". I googled "Microsoft Windows start up issues"."ITech Line" and a phone number 888-296-2025 popped up and I called and got Anna (probably a fake name). I trustingly gave her remote access control of my PC and she showed me (by some trickery) that I had a "trojan" going back to 2004 (before I owned this PC). She said "Trojan is not a 'virus" but a 'program' that attacks your
PC over time." $200,6 hours and 3 tech. S later (having to off work) sitting in front of my PC (while these idiots went through my hard drive and deleted/added who knows what), I was told it was the problem was my antivirus program!!! The same program that they said I should run weekly a few hours earlier! The tech. Would not give back control of my PC till I said the problem was resolved. I refused and shut down the PC. I will contest the CCard charges! STAY AWAY from ITechline! They are
thieves!
