Circuitmicro
Rip-Off scammers or just disorganized

The following events are all true, which, by the end of reading this, you may feel that they are either scammers or just plain disorganized. So are they scammers or disorganized? Well, I'm out 35 bucks and they have my banking information.

On August 19th in the mid-afternoon I was surfing the web, searching for a company that offers financing on a laptop. Although there are many companies out there, circuitmicro seemed to have the latest technology in my search, so I decided to go with them.

I began filling out the forms, with each "next" button I push the more excited about my new computer I become, not about to find out the dissapointment around the corner!

Of course many consumers such as myself are weary about entering their bank information, I felt very trusting at the time and went ahead and put my bank information into their easy-to-use form.

The final page I'm directed to is a payment page, to pay a $35 USD fee for processing my application. I agree to that, not knowing that in their terms and conditions that this fee is non-refundable.

To make matters worse, after I pay them the 35.00 I am sent to a page with an error, confused, I begin checking my email, thinking maybe they sent me something.

This is where it gets scary:

Picture this, you just given your bank information to a company, and this is what happens next:

1: I check both my junk mail and my inbox and I receive nothing from computer micro.

2: I call the number on their page and nobody answers the phone.

3: I run a whois circuitmicro and find out they HAVE TWO WEBSITES. And have NO address or CONTACT number available! It appears they are registered with Network Solutions, I call Network Solutions, and they give me a DIFFERENT contact number then is displayed on their website which is also a number where not a living person will answer. I am givin two email addresses, [email protected] and [email protected], which I have received no response from!

4: I call california "information" line and am givin a DIFFERENT MAILING ADDRESS for circuitmicro, Inc than what is displayed on their page. They are actually at Dimension Dr, if you go to their website, it will be described different.

5: circuitmicro.net has a different phone number than circuitmicro.com yet its the same business registered under network solutions

6: I go to http://www.hoovers.com and lookup circuitmicro. Turns out, that circuit micro isnt even a real corperation. They have NO D&B RECORD EITHER, ALL REAL BUSINESSES HAVE A D&B RECORD, it is LIKE a CREDIT REPORT.

Lastly: I got to usacomplaints.com and find many complaints on Circuitmicro, just have a look and see!

Formally,
I have registered a complaint against circuitmicro with the Federal Trade Commission because they just took 35.00 out of my account, and they HAVE MY PERSONAL BANKING INFORMATION which means they can try to commit fraud. Because of my worry of this, I am willing to help the FTC in their investigation, because many of things are not adding up, I feel it is safe to say that they are a fraudulent business, not even registered with the US or the state of california as an INC.

... Or, they could just be severely disorganized! Either way, I would not trust them.
