We hired Garve Technologies to develop an app for iPhone and Android for our company. We agreed on a price and that payment would be split into 50% up front and the balance on completion. They commenced work, then missed the deadline and were uncontactable for a couple of days. They finally contacted us with an excuse about their developer being in hospital. It was now too late for the deadline and I threatened to dispute the payment with my credit card company. They convinced me to try them again, with the offer of a discount on the final price. I agreed and they have now stalled long enough that it is too late to do a chargeback. They are now claiming that the company is shut down.
