Last year I purchased a payroll service from Intuit for Quickbooks Software. I paid an annual fee at the time.in August of this year a charge appeared on my credit/debit card charging $179.56. Research indicated that the charge was done by Intuit. When intuit was contacted they stated it was to renew my payroll service. I explained to them that I no longer needed the service and before they charged my account they should have received my authorization or at least notified me that a charge was going to occur.
The charge to my account caused an overdraft charge of $33.intuit insists I was notified and authorized the charge. I explained I was never notified. I also explained that they debited my personal account and not my business account. At first the service rep said they would reimburse me the $33 fee. The next day I received a Call from Sonya at Intuit who stated they do not reimburse NSF fees even if they caused the charge.
I asked to speak to a supervisor and she stated that she works directly for the President of Intuit, Stephen Bennett, and she is as high as I will get and I will not be able to Talk to Mr Bennett.
