I was looking for a "legal" music download site and found this one, highly recommended by PC Magazine. After I had signed up for two years and authorized the withdrawal of $23.28 from my checking account, I was allowed to see what I was signing up for - it was access to things I could already access for free, such as Kazaa and Morpheus.
The website claims that it will refund your money, but it will not. I have several e-mails and I spoke to a representative on the phone, without success. The only "concession" I got was that my membership would not renew automatically in two years - something I didn't even realize I was authorizing! A total ripoff - STAY AWAY!!
