I am so mad at my local news station right now; I registered for zbiddy.com after watching the reviews for the site on the news. Upon registering for "FREE", I was prompted to input my credit card information. I had a slight hesitancy about it, but I'm also registered with eBay (where you have to input the same info for your Paypal account), so I figured it was just for future reference. As I clicked the final "register" button, I was immediately taken to a purchase page with an invoice of $99. I was dumbfounded because I had not chosen anything... No package deal... No bids... Nothing. After a couple of moments, I received an email thanking me for my purchase (that was not authorized.) I called customer service only to be treated as if I'm stupid... Trying to offer me a $100 gas card voucher or 50% of my $99, keeping my bids. I declined and became quite irate and asked to speak with a supervisor ("Travis") who was just as incompetent. He tried his best to explain (in circles) that when I clicked register I was agreeing to purchase bids, although their website clearly states REGISTRATION IS FREE! When I called him on his many contradictions, he had nothing more to say, and I informed him that if I did not receive my full refund (not 75% as he was trying to offer) in 5-7 business days, he would be hearing from my attorney. If they have $100 gift cards to give out, why can't they just refund your money that they STEAL on the so called registration page? No thanks... I'll stick to eBay. Class action lawsuit, anyone??
