Website compares itself to eBay which gives you the assumption they are similar. Wrong. This site has a very deceptive process of registering so you can bid on items. As soon as you press the register button you have been charged $99.00. This purchases "bids" which you need to use to bid on the merchandise. Never saw it coming. Site states registration is free.
Did not understand the pay for bid deal until I hit the "Register" button. Please note the "bids" are not money to use towards your purchase. You are paying for each bid you need to make to buy an item plus what ever the item might end up costing.
The price for a bid seemed to vary but it clearly indicated you would buy bids AFTER you registered. I was becoming doubtful as the process continued but decided I just didn't need to bid on anything and would cancel.
Just on a whim I went to "My Account" and discovered I had been charged $99.00 for bids. Called credit card company to dispute charges. Hope it works. Bidrack has stated they will not refund my money. Most deceptive, sleazy group I have ever dealt with. I will never give a credit card number to any website again unless I know several people I trust who recommend it. Stay away from bidrack.com
