I had bought a gatway system for the prise of thirteen houndred dollars. To my supprise that was without intrest. And the fact of the matter the system was only 500 mhz., this system began to mess up after the 30 day money back warrenty.
I called gatway about this problem and the wanted a credit cand number to make the repairs to the system. I had a survise warrenty i told them that there was no way that i was giving them a credit card, and that they had to make these repairs to my system.
They said ok and asked me to take the system to a country store so i did so. About a week later they called me and told me i could pick up me system. I did this. When i got the system home and hooked it back up. The main problem was fixed. But there was still problems with the system.
So i called the main coumpany and asked them to fix the problem and they said that i whould have to send the system to a repair shop in a different state. So i did this. About two weeks later i recieved the system back say they replaced the motherbored and that the problem was resolved.
I was in the process of moving so i left the system in the box about 4 days later i opened the box and got the system of it. After hooking it back up the problem still remain in the system. After speaking with case mang. About this problem they said that the system whould have to be sent to a repair shop to have the motherbored replaced i tould the gentleman that this was done allready. He said there was nop record of this being done then i told him i had the piece of paper infront of me with the date/time part number and work autheraction signniture they said there was no part by that number.
I told the genleman that he needed to replace the system they did not sell this item any more because they stoped selling this system a couple of days after we bought it. And also there was just one thing the system i bought was the only system that they did not replace if there was a problem with.
Yeah right i said i tould him i bought a $1300.00 peace of crap and i did not think they was going to give me any resolve in this matter.
They put me on a call back list, did they call me back? No! Remember this system is a 500 mhz with 10 geg hd and no floppy drive and it was intergrated so that is my report.
