Tells buyout employees they can keep their hours then officially pulls to standard hours

Worked for this small internet anti-spyware company called Aluria in 2005...
Company was bought out by Earthlink in August...
At an official Earthlink party, the question was asked, " Will we be able to keep our Aluria hours?"...

The guy at the podium, as the VP of that division under the grand 'poo-bah ' Cobb, -
states yes...

Within a month, maybe a couple months, when we had moved to the new maitland location from Lake Mary,
the email distribution went out stating "New employee hours of 8 to 5 or 9 to 6 will be required..."...

We had formally had hours of 10 to 7... Or 10 to 630 (30 minut paid for lunch).. So we had a 7.5 hour instead of an 8 hour work day. It was beautiful... But earthlink, represented by the mouthpiece for Cobb (who went off to some damn rent.com website to work), renigged... If he could have just been honest enough to say 'We will check into that '.. Or whatever... But. It was an emphatic yes.., (or a depressed yes with a head sagging)..

Any way, that is a rip-off when the bought out employees are told they can keep their old company work hours and then they state later that longer hours are required.
