Chris Lane, Mr Lane made promises that he knew how to create our desired program he had no idea how to do it and still took our money.internet

When we met with Christopher Lane of Slicksystems we explained in detail the specs we wanted for the website we were looking to create. We gave him a detailed list of all of the functionality required and he took these specs with him and analyzed our goals. He cam back with a price based on our particular projects specifications. Mr. Lane and I then agreed on a draw schedule based on work accomplished.

As the work began, Mr. Lane started asking for draws and did not reach the projects agreed upon completion points. When asked how come he did not complete certain tasks he said, that he decided it would be better if his workflow was in a different order. He presented the work he completed (probably) the only portion of the work he new how to do. When I gave him a check he asked for cash as he could not "deposit" the check in his account - real professional! As the project progressed, Mr. Lane made more and more excuses about the specs of the project, asked if he could change the language the project was to be coded in and then refused to program a set of agreed upon API's we provided. Of course that did not stop Mr. Lane from always asking for his payment.

Mr. Lane is unethical, a crook and a bad business person not to mention a poor programmer. STAY AWAY! You could do better with programmers overseas!
