On January 7 I purchased a website from a company called Aplus.net. I will NEVER make that mistake again. This is the most incompetent and dishonest company I have EVER dealt with.
As I stated earlier, I purchased a website on January 7 from a salesman named Frank Moreno with Aplus.net. Frank and I discussed the terms and we were both happy with them. I paid the full amount upfront. I was told that the website would only take 2 weeks. Here it is May 10 and the website just went live. For the first month after purchasing the website I never heard anything from them. I had to call them over and over and over again to get them to respond. Finally I had to threaten them with a lawsuit in order to get them to take me serious.
Okay so now were into February and still I have nothing to view or even respond to. February comes and goes with nothing. Again I had to call them and threaten them with a lawsuit and contact with their state licening commision. Well, slowly they started to do something.
March comes and goes. April comes and they tell me that "Mr Spivey, It doesnt matter what you were told or what you paid ($1233.00), you're still gonna have to pay us another 250.00 in order to finish the website. So I did.
Well after finding out they were charging me 34.95 a month in hosting fees on a website that isnt even made yet, I called the VP, Lilian, and complained (that number is now disconnected). Well, long story short she gave me a credit for 6 months of hosting fees and acted like she was doing me a FAVOR. I didnt even own a website.
