Iolo Technologies offered a $20.00 rebate for their System Mechanic software product. The requiremetns:
Mail in deadline, cut out UPC code, copy of receipt and filled out form for the rebate.
All requrements were met. Unfortunaley the receipt was cut off at the date making the date unreadable (cut done by the store's cash register). The rebate was sent during the time frame required. I mailed the rebate the same day I purchased the product.
I received the rejection on arround Sept 20th and it read Missing purchase date and Invalid postmark date. The postmarked day was valid!!! The date on the receipt was cut off by the sales machine. They require me to go back to the store and get a receipt from OFFICE DEPOT reflecting the date of purchase. Well by the time I get the required information the "post mark" day requirement will make the rebate invalid.
