CompUSA, Iolo Technologies Rebate
Rebate ripoff, told me i sent wrong upc, i did not

I bought a Drivescrubber disc from CompUSA which came with a $25.00 rebate. I sent everything correctly. They sent me an e-mail telling me I submitted the wrong UPC. The told me it was for the product Search & Destry 3 and only a $10 rebate. I called and called and faxed the correct information over to them and they said they would take care of it. After all that they still sent me $10 rebate check for Search & Recover 3 to which I never submitted. I called again and was told to call iolo technologies direct. Iolo technologies is of course not responsible for the rebate as they contracted with the rebate company. I continue to call and fax & mail copies of the correct paperwork and they say they will put me in the correct rebate category. We'll see. This is a new twist to rebate hell! I am about to cram this product down CompUSA's throat! They say they do not take returns on open computer software. We'll see about that!!!
