My bill was past due, i called snet in bridgeport and asked what do i need to pay to keep my dsl internet connection and when. They said pay 233.34 before 3-3-04. I paid 233.34 on 3-2-04. After going home realized i could not get on the internet i called back, they said i had been deleted from their system, this was after talking to at least 3 different poeple, and it would take one week before i could get a dsl line restored. On or about 3-5-04 i called again and was told if i pay remaining balance i would be restored right away so i gave them a check routing numbers over the phone and they could not restore my internet connection (lie #2).
A day or so later i called again and talked to KIM dsl supervisor she told they could not restore my line until 8 days from today and i expressed my concerns and was very upset.
Again i called and talked to another KIM (snet employee) and she told me the same lie again and i told her that no one in that company knows what the other depts are doing and no one cares while i the consumer is getting customer no service.
When you call this company it takes 3 and 4 people to get to the discouraging news "i cant help you, its not my job, theres nothing i can do"
I finally got my service restored thru sbc global.net somewhere aroun the 3-15-04 not sure. They have tapes of all the times i called she told me that, they deleted my old email address ([email protected]) and logon without any warning, and finally i recieved a bill for $77.00 for non basic which is for internet service in less than one month, this cant be right.
I am currently looking for a new internet service provider that offers dsl. I expect another fight when i fire them or leave their service.
