I bought a video games website from a Lilhost seller on Ebay for $249.00 (Feb. 2004), and then after 4 days, recieved a URL and that was all. When I sent an email asking where was the info about the site, I was referred to Lilhost.com, who I had never heard of before.
The rep (Bess) for Lilhost started off our acquaintance by saying I was lying about recieving the info about the web site, that they had sent it, and I had recieved it right after the sale.
They then sent the info and an email saying: "here is the info you already recieved, it has been re-sent", also they acknowledged their seller in their email. Well these remarks and some others offended me, but I still tried to work with them, because the seller sent me an email apologising for not responding with the info about the site, saying he was new and this was his first sale. The original ad said no refunds.
I noticed immediately that several things that were advertised in the Ebay sale were not so. Like the site being 100% mine (yet I had no access whatsoever to any of the controls).
