Wrist-band.com
Zaappaaz, customlanyard.net Misleading, false advertising, lies!

Wow. I could write pages about the horrific experience I had with wrist-band.com

Wrist-band.com was chosen both because of pricing and delivery. As stated in two different places on their website, delivery dates are "guaranteed." Placed an order of 2000 custom wristbands on 6/3 for an event on 6/18. Paid extra for rush shipping to secure a "guaranteed" delivery of 6/16. A week went by (stated processing time) and no tracking number had been sent so I called and was assured that they were to be shipped as planned. Another day went by and still no tracking number.

Called again as was told that the order had shipped but that it took some time to generate a tracking number.By 6/15, still had not heard from company and called again. This time, I was told that there had been a problem "at the factory" and that the order would be delivered after 6/20. This started a lengthy back and forth between myself and several employees of wrist-band.com through email and phone. Ultimately, "Matt" told me via email that the order could be delivered on 6/18 and we could cancel if that was not satisfactory. I told "Matt" that if we could not have delivery by 6/17 at the latest, we wanted to cancel the order. He promised (via phone) that 6/17 would work.

Got a tracking number on 6/17... Showing a 6/18 delivery. Wrist-band.com had no explanation as to why they changed the delivery date but promised this time that they'd be here by noon on the 18th. As of noon on the 18th, we still didn't have them... Delivery was not till nearly 2pm - after our event was in full swing. And to make things worse, over 200 of our bands were from other orders.

After complaining about the quality and delivery, wrist-band.com kept changing their mind on how to resolve. We were told we'd get a full shipping refund, then a half shipping refund, then nothing at all, then back to a full refund.

After weeks of arguing, they agreed to a half shipping refund. That was on July 29th. The refund (for $64) never came through. When I contacted them again, they got short and told me to "go file a dispute." When a month had passed without sign of refund (required waiting time to take action as per my bank) I contacted again and was told by wrist-band.com that they'd "closed their bank account" and to take it up with *my* bank. Of course, this led to being bounced around to different people and promised a refund twice more to no avail.

Was forced to file complaints with BBB.org, the Texas Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. Wrist-band.com replied only to the BBB complaint and made up a story about asking me for "photos of the incorrect bands." When I responded to that, they went mute and BBB closed the case for non-response by company.

I noticed here that someone apparently named "Jason" has replied to complaints saying he is the manager and will solve all complaints. He even goes as far as to claim that the negative reviews on this site are from a disgruntled competitor! However, the BBB listing shows a totally different set of names:

Do not even try to do business with this odious company.
