On October 28,1999, we paid $26,000 upfront to Meridian One Technologies (Orders-Online.com) of 2929 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, to take over our subscription-access Web site and rebuild it with new features on or before January 31.
We paid upfront to gain a 10% discount. It wasn't worth it! The site is operational, but one month after deadline it isn't up to specifications, Meridian One's CEO, Omar Sayed, is unresponsive to complaints and has no schedule for completing 14 deficiencies on the site.
Key features needed to attract new subscribers and to compete against other companies entering our market have not been activated.
As a small family-operated business, we have exhausted our capital on this business-expansion project and now must stand aside in frustration, worse-off than before we engaged Meridian One, as other better-funded corporations move into a market that we pioneered. We have no way to defend ourselves because we cannot activate essential features.
Our warning to others is that Meridian One, Orders-Online.com and Omar Sayed will not or cannot deliver on their promises.
