Freelancer.com suspended my account with a balance of 90 US Dollars.
I hadn't used Freelancer.com in over 2 years when I decided to use it for one more job.
I deposited money, found the freelancer, then tried to withdraw the remainder of my money only for my account to be suddenly suspended.
I was asked to submit photos of myself with my passport which I did. I have received no response from my support ticket for over 3 months. I regularly re-send the details, and use their live chat support, in which the representatives assure me that someone will reply soon, only for nothing to happen.
I am very frustrated and don't know what to do. I am wondering if Freelancer.com is witholding money for its own financial reasons rather than the reasons they give their customers.
I was told that my account was suspended due to my having two accounts. The other account was one I started in 2005 and couldn't remember the log in details for. This is why I started a new account in 2009.
I hadn't even used the site this time since so without any activity on my account, how was I supposed to be doing something suspicious?
Worryingly I don't some to be alone in this...
