On Mar 23 I thought I was purchasing dsl from earthlink I got the equipment but it never worked. I tried contacting them several times and always got the run-around. At one time they said they would send someone out to see what the problem was I took the day off of work and NO ONE showed up. Not only did this happen once but THREE times and no one showed up.
I tried to cancel my subsciption but was not allowed to with out an early disconnect fee. I was told I would have to continue paying for one year before I could cancel it. It has been one year and I have paid them $537.20 for a year of dsl that never not even once ever worked and no one tried to help me. I just spoke with a CSR for the company who tried to belittle me and make me look stupid while he was laughing at me and telling me they would never refund my money.
I was also told I could not cancel until April 1. When I asked them to send someone out to check the equipment to see I was telling the truth, CSR said they couldn't because my account was already canceled, but I said not until Apr 1st so you have 3 days to send someone out. He said no they would not send someone out and I was just out of my money.
