Yep I've been ripped off and know I'm mad. Here's my story. But first a mental not MAN DO I FEEL STUPID!
I paid $299.00 dollars in June to Theadresource.com company / Ebizmarketingcenter.com for Web site hosting, development and
marketing. This company is owned and operated by Don J Schulz out of Maple Grove Minnesota.
I thought I did my research before purchasing, but I was wrong.
After talking with Don several times I felt comfortable enough to purchase this program. The initial fee included hosting, development and startup marketing. It was backed up by a 100% money back guarantee. I
F after 90 days and up to 1 year you were not completely satisfied for any reason they would refund your money without question.
Poblems started right after sign up. The log in site to supply your information didn't work. So Don reqested I send the info in MS Word format and I did. The reply was OK now we can get started give us a couple of weeks. Tick, Tick, Tick, Weeks go by. I contact them again no answere.
Finally I get through with a threat about the refund. Apparently they lost my purchase order. Know they found it and started on the site again. He reqested more info and it was supplied, now we need more time. Tick, Tick, Tick, still nothing.
I contacted Don again and he said were going on vacation for the holidays, be back with you after the first of the year in the mean time please transfere your domain name to our servers. These happen to be NS1 & NS2. EBIZMARKETINGCENTER.com, which are still operational with other websites that they claimed were developed by them.
I tried to contact Don in the middle of January and had no response. Then I sent E-mail and phone messages that requested a refund. This is where it gets stupid. I receive a reply but low and behold it's Not Donny. He's having health problems you see, and some person named Kay Chambers has been filling in for him, apparently without any of his customers knowledge.
I was told the refund would be processed in 30 days or so. So I wait a few weeks send a certifed doc U.S.P.S. With my intent to persue leagal action. Don signs for it, but Kay Chambers replies. Bla, Bla, Bla sorry you should have your refund by 3-15. If not please contact us. "Hum OK I'm stupid" So I wait no refund.
Send a second certified doc. With the beginnings of my quest, "legal action". Guess what! It comes back. Apparently the post office can't deliver it because his forwarding address request has expired, they're only good for 18 months. I tried calling the toll free number, its now reassigned to a different company. The web site is now offline, but I still have the (612) 819-7529 number, but that's one through verizon. End of story I don't think so.
Yep I want my money back, but It makes me sick when individuals or a group of people are dishonest and give the Internet a bad rep. I will report this to all agencies concerned. BBB, MI & MN attonery generals offices, FCC and Hennipin county and Maple Grove business assocition and Maybe I can get one of those T.V. Hall of shame reporters to check it out. Hey who knows? Plus legal action has already been started. The easiest way would be appreciated just refund my money as stated on the web site. Which I did make comlete electronic copies of before it went offline.
