After inquiring about the e-bay car, we were told "Hello,
it appears to be a one owner vehicle but we can never be 100% No accidents and tires are nearly new all around.
The car is well cared for and drives real nice"
The reality was that the advertised power windows did not work, the lights were disconnected (no headlights or tail lights), the tires needed replacing, the brakes needed replacing, the covers on all the door lights fell off, the car was dirty and the passenger front door "appears to be a used door not the original with the car" - per Edwards Chevrolet. Weather stripping removed from the rear window and from passenger side front and back window.
E-bay ad said "Power door locks" but the back door still does not lock; "power windows" but the passenger front window can not go down without hanging up and neither of the front windows worked when we received the car; "power seat dual" but none of the back support mechanisms or heat work with the passenger seat.
E-bay ad also said "You are viewing an extremely clean 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora. This Aurora was a one owner vehicle here in Florida and carefully driven on ultra smooth Florida highways. All the leather, panels, seats act are very clean and are in proper working order..."
Additionally vents were cracked and non-functional - all in all we spent over $4000 to get the car in better and somewhat functional condition - (some was routine maintanence)
Through the Square Trade dispute resolution, we were sent $50, even though we would not accept the settlement.
