I too have recived one of these bogus mailings. I have never had a domain name much less have one that is about to expire. According to them I do and need to pay them before it does expire. I encourage everyone who receives one of these letters to contact the Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General in your state as well as where the company is operating from, The better business bureau in both your state and the state they are operating from and the Postal Inspector. This really shouldnt take much of your time and most of it can be done online. Companies such as Domain Registry of American thrive because they count on people just rolling over and paying it without researching or just ignoring them all together. If we all take a little time to file the necessary paper work then they will be stopped. I have successfully done this to other fruadulent companies and am pleased to report that they are no longer in business. I hope that to be the case for AD of A as well.
