I placed an order with nola fitness (nolagym.com) on 03/01 for a therapeutic back massager for $149.95 plus $23.76 for shipping. On 03/03 my order was processed and the the transaction went through my bank and shipping details were pending. On 03/09 i received an email that my order has been updated and my shipping status is now shipped (parcel post regular) tracking # 9434610200793448667274.
After six weeks i attempted numerous times to contact nola fitness for updates on my shipping status. That's when i found out they did not have a valid contact phone number and i could only reach a recording that would say you reached us during non business hours or we are experiencing problems with our phone system. I tried to contact them using email and i got no response. Two weeks later i tried tracking the package again and noticed the tracking info never updated.
I contacted the postal service and filed a complaint and was told something was fishy with the tracking number that was generated with my package and to contact the shipper asap. After numerous attempts to contact nola fitness i was told by postal service rep to file a complaint with the better business bureau which i did and they in turn told me to contact my financial institution which i did.
After investigating the transaction my financial institution told me they could not file a dispute because 60 days had expired... I'm very... Very... Very pissed off.
How can this guy keep ripping people off and get away with it
