I bought Pareto logic File Cure for a problem I was having with my computer. The Auto Renewal feature of the product was not clearly labeled and it was difficult to cancel the autorenewal. I'm not sure this is a scam, but they are not dealing in good faith when they sneak this autorenewal in and then create roadblocks to cancel it.
