I was referred to this company name and person to have a web site developed. I was quoted a fee, and the designer requested payment in weekly installments of $400.00 to be paid to him from each owner of the site. There were 4 of us at the time. His initial payment was $1,600.00 per week.
This was not in our contract but what was in the contract was that our money was not refundable in which we did overlook.
The contract we do have states the site would be completed in October. Here we are 4 months later thousands of dollars lighter for the efforts, and with no web site ever going to be completed. Serge Mezheritsky also does not allow you to choose your design, or allow you to do banner exchange with anyone.instead he puts his banner on your site for his other business called adult toys.com where he sells dildos, and other sexually explicit items and smutty videos etc. Everything we wished to see on the sie never came into existance.
The other two partners we did have, have decided to not be a part of the site, and did not ask for any refund back. I found this highly unusual. The site designer has collected $4,800.00 gross. I have gone on numerous meetings to the web designer only to discover that I drive to the office, meet him, to pick up our software... He sits down with me, pulls up the web site he was hired to design, and points out areas where it is not complete. Upon my feeling suspicious I asked how many more hours of work is needed to complete the site. He answers only 10 hours.
He became frustrated and then told me that he was unable to work with me, that I brought out the worst in hispersonality and gotout of his chair and paced the halls returning and asked me to to leave the office. He said hes not a crimminal and a verbal dispute came into the picture.
So I took the initiative to do my research after the designer not only yelled at me, became sarcastic and rude with me but also asked for more money than the balance due, stating that the site would cost more had we gone anywhere else. We have him on contract and have terminated him. Through my own investigation, I have discovered that where the web designer had the site server, appears to have a connection to one of the other partners who decided to dismiss himself. That server site name is ISWEST.net which is now ISWEST.com.
Our concern is not just for ourselves but for others who may use this persons services for any web design. He is not a member of the http guild, or listed as webmaster in any list of professional webmasters of america. He is a complete fraud. I also discovered that the office space he appears to rent, is not his at all. He is subletting and has not paid his rent when his buddies moved away from the rented space. They are known as LARims.com. The warehouse attached to the long office was once used by them to store tire rims. It is now filled with dildos that the web designer sells from Adulttoys.com
I have also researched more information on this character. More addresses on him such as Egress COmmunications 15925 Victory Blvd Suite 220 Van Nuys Ca 91406. Online Services International po box 2070 Van Nuys, CA 91404-2070 in which the domain to our web site was listed with the names Serge Mezheritsky and his partner in crime Eugene Lutsenko of Online Services International. I am not stopping here. I want the money back to settle this. If I never get the money back I will have had the satisifaction of getting the word out there to all others.
I am not yet finished with my investigation but I do plan on researching the local authorities and IRS. The former partner is in question with me of probable cause as a suspect in this matter. Right now it does appear he is involved in the server company in which we have moved our site from. It was a battle to gain back our domain, but we had to force the designer to follow through with the approval givingus back our domain name in which he listed in his name and his friends Eugene Lutsenko.
Stay away from these people! And do your homework before and not after you get burned.
