McCalley Co. Scammer, PayPal Claim, Stolen Source Code, Ripoff Artist, Falsifying Information, Stolen Identity

Nick McCally has scammed me out of money that I well deserved, stolen my source code which was suppose to be paid for, and has falsely registered a domain under my identity. He has also filed a claim against the full amount of his bill to me on PayPal, and won without my side even having a slightly fair advantage.

Over the course of a week, I had approached him over a forum for work on a clone of FBanners.com. When we initially started talking, I had quoted him $300 for the project and a week of development for a completed project. When he saw the price, he responded back stating that it's not that complicated and should only take an experienced developer a few hours to complete the entire website. I then offered him $190 (half of my original quote) and he declined it. He then offered me $180 and gave a list of features. I agreed with him and asked to use a framework. He told me he would only allow a framework to be used if I lowered the price. I declined that.

During the week of development, I had completed the features that he wanted, though had some minor bugs in the application. He paid me $190 over PayPal and we continued work on it. He then started stating features that we didn't initially agree on and claimed to have said them before hand. He also would explain a feature to me, then I would implement it, and he would explain that it wasn't what he wanted and demanded a different feature to be put in it's place, and claimed it was the original feature wanted.

When he started wanting even more features, I started quoting for each addition. He told me that I just wanted to get every nickel and dime from him and the features shouldn't even be hard to implement. I finally gave into my conscience and told him that I was no longer going to continue on the project because I'm not being compensated for the money I should be and my coding abilities were constantly being put into question (regardless of previous work).

He told me if I didn't continue development that he was going to do a PayPal dispute against me for the amount he paid me. PayPal initiated the dispute and moved it to a claim. The claim went through because PayPal apparently doesn't help the seller when your transaction doesn't involve a shipped item. Which is news to me since PayPal has always been the preferred method for web work. So PayPal gave him back his money, is telling me collections will be sent after me if I don't get the money paid back, and now I have a few days to sort it out before this scenario happens.

Now after I found out that PayPal is getting me to pay this, I started looking into removing the source code from his website, http://fbnoodle.com. I no longer have access to this FTP server and wasn't able to remove the files. The website is online and functioning, so that shows the work was done. I now found out that he registered http://fbnoodle.com with my personal information, taken from my domains with a WHOIS tool. My personal information isn't his to use for whatever he wants, just to get out of having to pay the extra few dollars for a private domain.
