Shopped at a sale of the century event in my area and decided to pick up a netbook my existing laptop does not work too well has Vista operating system and microft office. The one I purchased had XP so I thought - it does, but it originally had vista still has stuff on it. The firzst was the Microsoft office software is not genuine. I was specifically told that these were demos so it was ok to sell to me. Needless to say I didnt realirthat when used as demos the software was purchased as a group and should and cannot be sold to consumers like me. I only found out the copy of windows is not genuine either.
I know I wont be able to recoup my $250, but since I saw another back from 2009 - this needs to stop. Now I will need to purchase another one abvioulsly new (I ain't taking anymore chances). Just think how many other people have gotten computers they cannot use and probably no money to replace it.
